Paruppu Podi is served with hot rice and ghee.You can also use this powder to spice up your vegetable curries or a thickner for sambar/gravies.This is a lip smacking spice powder mainly served as a side dish for vathakuzhambu rice,rasam and sambar rice.This podi is prepared using bengal gram,toor dal,roasted gram,garlic,red chilli powder and salt.
